Europe is undergoing major changes, both institutional and structural. The combination of a new European Parliament and Commission, the UK’s future relationship with the EU, sustainability challenges and the data challenge will all bring changes to us personally and professionally. Speakers will include representatives from the European institutions .
During this afternoon session, members will be able to request individual meetings with other members or participate in group discussions around specific topics.
Trust and reputation are of paramount importance for the mutual sector. How do different types of mutuals communicate their ethical ways of doing business? José Maria Aizega, Director of the Basque Culinary Center, will provide the inspirational keynote opening for this session.
The values embodied in the mutual model speak to a new generation of Europeans. How can our members use their core principles to connect with their customers and move forward? Learning from other members will be the guiding principle for this session.
Session IV: Future | Future transformations
Climate change, sustainability, regulation and data access are the biggest transformational challenges for mutual insurers. We must prepare our organisations for that future. For the customer-centric mutual insurance industry, what changes need to be brought into strategies to protect the future of our organisations?
